If we look after the waters and land around us, we will be looked after in turn.
Media and Marketing
A three-month advertising campaign ran in April, May and June 2010, building on a similar campaign in mid-2009.
The top-level message - let’s change our ways to change our waterways – was featured in a series of newspaper adverts, radio adverts, and on the back of five Christchurch buses, as well as this website.
Press adverts and bus backs
There were three versions of the press adverts and bus backs:
Everything you drop here affects every drop here [PDF 199kB]
Be careful where you wash the car you may be cleaning out the rivers [PDF 125kB]
If you wash brushes near a drain that's not all you wash up [PDF 1.03MB]
Radio adverts
The radio adverts ran on a series of Christchurch commercial stations, RDU and Plains FM.
